

Henry Walpole
Henry has worked in the school travel market for more than a decade. A former shipbroker, he quickly realised where his passion lay (and it wasn’t in shipping!) Sport and travel have always been at the heart of all things positive in Henry’s life and being able to work in a field where you genuinely love your job is rare.
Adopting a collaborative and personal approach to the organisation of tours, Henry uses his breadth of knowledge to create packages that last long in the memory of those touring. His personal touring highlights include a Rugby tour to New Zealand and two cricket tours to Barbados.


Tom Parfett
Tom began his career in the school sports travel market seven years ago, having previously worked as a coach in schools and clubs. Being able to combine his passion for sport and travel has led him to co-found Travel for Sport, with a focus on working collaboratively with customers to plan itineraries for lifelong memories.
Tom started touring young, playing football in Holland aged 10 before touring with different sports to Canada, France, South Africa and Barbados, spending two years as a ski instructor and playing cricket in Australia.


Maxine Hughes
Maxine started touring more than a decade ago, beginning with university ski, sports and surf tours around the UK and Europe. These experiences ignited a passion for all things sports and travel, leading to a career managing logistics for professional sports teams and their fans.
Through her career, Maxine has orchestrated trips to all corners of the globe and she uses her logistical expertise to ensure our customers have the smoothest and most memorable tour possible.
Her touring highlights include a winter taking groups around the French Alps and the 2017 Lions tour to New Zealand.


Chris Thomas
Chris's extensive travels to destinations such as Australia, Thailand, and the United States fuelled his love for exploring new places. Whilst a love of sport has been an ever present in Chris’ life.
He embarked on his career in the sports travel industry in 2012 after returning from a year spent snowboarding in Canada and over the past decade, Chris has assisted group leaders with their tour requirements, ensuring memorable experiences in multiple sports and skiing across Europe and beyond. Most recently, Chris worked with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), organising professional business travel. His love of the school’s sports travel industry brings him to Travel for Sport!
Chris has a particular affinity for tours in Spain and Holland but, considers ski tours to be the pinnacle of sports travel.
